Imogen Reeve & Co is a UK-based dance theatre company led by Artistic Director and Choreographer Imogen Reeve, working nationally and internationally. We collaborate with communities and artists to develop relevant, contemporary productions and creative workshop programmes, bringing contemporary dance practice to both professional artists and non-professionals.
About Mother Computer
Mother Computer is a dance-theatre research and development project exploring what reimagining folktales with AI can teach us about culture and ourselves.

Role: Community Engagement Producer
We are seeking a well-networked Producer or Project Manager with experience in contemporary dance and community engagement to develop and deliver a pilot national engagement strategy for the project. The role will focus on building on existing networks and creating new partnerships to support a small programme of workshops in Leeds and Exeter.
Key Responsibilities

Engagement Strategy & Coordination
-
Write a short engagement strategy including targets, audience numbers, and evaluation approaches, including the delivery of one workshop in Leeds and one workshop in Exeter.

Coordinate planning, timelines, and communications to ensure workshops are well-organised and reach engagement targets.

Workshop Programme Development

Co-develop a workshop model with Imogen Reeve:

Ensure content is accessible, inclusive, and tailored to participants’ needs

Liaison & Management
-
Act as primary contact between local partners, practitioners, and Imogen Reeve & Co.

Organise, schedule, and manage workshops, ensuring clear communication via social media, partner networks, websites, and newsletters (in collaboration with Imogen Reeve’s Marketing Manager)

Marketing & Communications Support

Support the marketing strategy to ensure engagement targets are met

Attend regular planning meetings and coordinate promotion across relevant channels

Evaluation & Reporting

Collect and collate feedback from workshops and practitioners

Support documentation of outcomes and contribute to reflections for future engagement planning

Fee
-
Producer fee: £1,000 for 5 days (3 days planning and strategy, 2 days comms/organisation)
