Mother Computer Continues Development Ahead of Autumn Tour

We are delighted to share that Mother Computer: Folk Dances From The Future will continue its development in Berlin this August as we begin the next phase of work on the project.

​

Following recent residencies and work-in-progress sharings in Leeds and Trondheim, the company will travel to Berlin for a period of research and creation, continuing to develop the work ahead of an autumn tour.

​

Mother Computer reimagines folk dance and collective storytelling through a contemporary feminist lens, exploring themes of technology, community and connection in an increasingly digital world.

​

As the project grows, we are excited to be working in partnership with Yorkshire Dance, Northern School of Contemporary Dance, Dance United Yorkshire, Stage@Leeds and The Drama Studio Sheffield, with funding from Arts Council England.
